Frequently Asked Questions
Is the putter legal to use in play?
Absolutely, the Chamber Putter is legal for play as long as the laser unit is not attached to the putter during the round. You can use any of the attached alignments guides during play, if they're securely attached.
Should the guide alignment screw come all the way out?
No, not when you're testing different guides. Loosen it to test guides, but don't remove it, only fully tighten once you've chosen your preferred guide.
Why is the laser not fitting into the back of the putter?
This can happen if the alignment guide is not pressed all the way down. Please make sure the alignment guide is flush with the back cavity, and the laser will snap into place easily.
Can my visual tendencies change over time? Should I reassess periodically?
Yes, your visual tendencies may undergo changes. That's why it's a good idea to reassess with the guide options periodically to give yourself a visual "checkup" to make sure you are using the best alignment guide to fit your eyes.
Do I need to use my headcover all the time?
Your Chamber Putter is crafted from high-grade aluminum and tungsten-so it deserves to stay protected with its headcover. The softer aluminum delivers the feel you love, but it can ding if it knocks against other clubs.
How can I tell which mode the laser is on?
The easiest way to tell what mode the laser is on is with the green operating light on top of the laser. A solid green light means you're ready for practice mode; a blinking green light indicates assessment mode to determine which alignment guide fits your visual tendencies.
What do I do with the indoor laser?
Practice with your Chamber Putter wherever you are. The indoor laser projects a line on the floor to help train alignment.
Set it to assessment mode for intermittent feedback, practice consistently, and use it for fun alignment challenges to sharpen your visual accuracy.
After I figure out the best guide for me, how often should I use my laser going forward?
To get the most out of the A-LOC system, use the laser every time you play. Our research shows that regular use strengthens visual alignment memory - warm up with the outdoor laser on the practice green, and if needed, confirm your aim with a slight forward press to project the dot and build confidence before your round.
Any other benefits I should know about?
Another key benefit of the Chamber Putter with the A-LOC system is improved green reading:
During practice rounds, use the outdoor laser to confirm alignment and test break on challenging putts, adjusting as needed to dial in the correct read (not permitted in tournaments and always be mindful of pace of play).
Line up with the laser, do the slight forward press to make sure you are aligned properly, hit your putt, if the putt breaks more than expected, repeat the process and play more break until you find the right amount. Next time you have that putt, you'll know how much break to play.
Over time, this repeatable feedback builds confidence and sharper green-reading instincts that carry into future rounds
